Journey to Cinematography
Raised between the lush landscapes of Kerala and the historic ambiance of Delhi, my early influences were deeply rooted in rich cinematic discussions during family dinners. While theater beckoned, it was the powerful beats of the 'Chenda' and the expressive dance of Kathakali, introduced by my sister, that truly resonated with me. This cultural backdrop made me critique and refine every video and photo I took. Capturing my sister's performances garnered wider appreciation and paved the way for a deeper exploration into this craft. The creation of a short film solidified my realization that this passion could indeed be my profession. From 2018-2021, I pursued a B.A. in Filmmaking with a Specialization in Cinematography at Whistling Woods International in collaboration with TISS. This formal education, coupled with unwavering family support, marked the intersection of my joy and a commitment to cinematic excellence.

Life Under Lockdown
Recognition isn't the sole aim of art, but it is heartening to be acknowledged by peers and institutions. In a world reshaped by the pandemic, I had the honor of receiving an award for the documentary titled 'Life under Lockdown' – a poignant portrayal of life during the COVID-19 crisis.
This project wasn't just about filming; it was a holistic endeavor that saw me wearing multiple hats - from cinematography to poetic narrative composition, from meticulous editing to nuanced color grading.
The documentary delves deep into the struggles and adversities faced by many during the lockdown. Yet, amidst the challenges, it endeavored to illuminate a beacon of hope. The recognition for 'Life under Lockdown' is not just an accolade for me, but a testament to the resilience of human spirit and the power of storytelling in capturing it.
